Description
AmAir® – Constructed with AAF’s totally unitized, double wall moisture resistant die-cut beverage frame. The media pack is bonded inside the frame at all points and the pleat support grid is made from expanded metal. Typically used as pre-filter to prolong the life of high efficiency filters. Available in a wide variety of grades. Available with INTERSEPT antimicrobial.

Available for all ranges of applications in the AHU. For industry such as: Semiconductor, Automotive, Pharmaceutical, Commercial & Industrial, Gas turbine.

Product Features & Benefits
High Loft Media – the media is a special blend of non-woven cotton and synthetic fibers formed into a high loft mat for maximum media thickness to hold more dust.
The contoured shape of the pleats, which are formed by expanded metal support grid permits air to exit freely through the bottom of the pleats, as well as along entire depth. Dust collects uniformly over the entire media and does not build up in the exit apexes as it would in V-shaped pleats. The unique design maximizes media usage and results in a more gradual rise in resistance and higher dust holding capacity.
The expended metal support grid increases the stability of the pleat pack, thus reducing media flutter during operation.
HDW The Media pack support retainers increases filter rigidity. It helps maintain equidistant spacing between pleats for maximum dust holding capacity while minumizing resistance.
