Description

Rubber-steel gaskets are made of a steel ring core encased in a rubber sheath. Vulcanisation achieves a superior adhesion and between the rubber and the steel insert and prevents separation even under high stress. Rubber-steel gaskets provide high seal integrity at low bolt loads and at low temperatures. Because the gasket is self-centering on the bolt circle, there is optimum handling during installation.
Application
Rubber-steel gaskets are suitable for heavy duty services and are used commonly in pipeline construction.
