Three Combination locks provide extra protection for you. Unlocking any two of three will open the door. The four-wheel combination locks are concealed behind a hinged front panel. Each combination lock has a relocking device for further security. When the combination locks are attached, the relocking device is activated instantly.

 

The entire door is reinforced with Kumahira’s exclusive protective armor plate “Kumahira Alloy” which provides complete protection against blow torches, drills and explosives.

 

A full locking bar assures top-to-bottom contact with the door’s locking jamb. On the hinge side, a fixed locking bar performs the same function.

The detent mechanism allows the locking bar to be secured in the retracted position to prevent the possibility of damage to the bar in case the door is accidentally closed with the bar in the extended position.

 

Daygate is the key-operated from both sides. A swinging & sliding gate are both available.

 

Floor mounted door catcher is equipped with a positive catch which holds the door in place even under the earthquake. The catch can be disengaged by steeping on the release pedal.

 

A Kumahira Precision-matric time lock assures security in addition to the combination locks as the door cannot be opened as long as time lock is activated. The precision-matric is available with two or three movement and can be set for the time periods up to 168 hours.

 

If someone is locked inside the vault (accidentally or under hold-up conditions), the ventilator makes it possible for fresh air or food to pass into the vault. The trapped person can alert the outside by pushing the alarm button attached to the ventilator inside the vault.

 

Duct Lock is designed to accommodate normal connection to the building air supply system and to the vault air duct distribution system. In case of fire, it prevents the fire and smoke from entering the room through the duct.
