Description
The Kammprofile gasket is a two-part seal compromising a precision-engineered grooved metal core and a soft sealing material bonded to either side of the core. The metal core can withstand high pressure loading while providing excellent deformation and sealing properties. Meanwhile, the soft sealing material fills any surface irregularity on the flange even at low bolt loads. The Kammprofile gasket is easy to handle and fit, and combines the benefits of hard and soft sealing technologies for a lasting seal that offers outstanding levels of gas tightness and joint integrity. The gasket has an unlimited shelf life and can also prolong the use of damaged or rotated flanges.
Application
Kammprofile gaskets are primarily used in standard pipeline and heat transfer applications as they offer safe and effective seals under tough conditions. They are often selected to replace metal jacketed gaskets.
