iii) internal direct drive hoist trolley with helical gears submerged in oil; much longer lifespan and reduced lubrication failure compared to external gears that cut into the trolley wheel flange

iv) reaction rollers that improve traction and control

v) a choice of control systems on crane travel motion; 2 speed motor drive options available to give exacting control over crane movement without the need for electronics
 
vi) heavy duty double band rope guide ensures greater reliability

Replete with all the features of our single/double girder cranes, our gantry –sometimes also called Portal – cranes provide ideal solutions for outdoor applications by virtue of their pre-fitted portal legs. Common uses of gantry cranes include casting of concrete for precast yards; underground tunnel handling for installation of pre-cast segments; and moving steel material in open storage yards amongst many other outdoor uses. They are also very functional indoors when existing infrastructures cannot support conventional single/double girder cranes.
