Common uses of gantry cranes include casting of concrete for precast yards; underground tunnel handling for installation of pre-cast segments; and moving steel material in open storage yards amongst many other outdoor uses. They are also very functional indoors when existing infrastructures cannot support conventional single/double girder cranes.
